Plenary Sessions will begin each morning at 8:00am in the main ballroom. On Tuesday the session will run for two hours in the main ballroom. The remainder of the Plenary sessions will all begin with a 40 minute session in the main ballroom followed by 3 concurrent panels that will discuss a specific theme addressed in the main address.

Technical Sessions will comprise the bulk of the presentations. 1.5 hour blocks starting at 10:30, 1:30, and 3:30 will occur each day of the conference (except the afternoon on Friday). During each block there will be 10 separate concurrent sessions to choose from, each covering a unique topic. Within each session 6 papers will be presented on the topic.

5-in-5 Presentations & Poster Sessions will run in the early evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00-7:00. Each evening the Exhibit Hall will showcase 150 posters, and host 6 concurrent impact-theaters. The impact-theaters will be small presentation spaces within the room where authors present snapshots of their work with 5 slides in 5 minutes.

Special Events & Tours are distributed throughout the week. An opening reception will be held Monday evening and an evening out at the Alaska Native Heritage Center is planned for Thursday.  Tours on Monday and Friday will take participants north or south of Anchorage to explore local scenery impacted by earthquakes. A four day tour will depart after the conference and will cover 900 miles.

Pre Conference Workshops & Meetings will be held throughout Monday by the EERI Board, EERI Committees, and NEES Committees. There will also be affiliated workshops hosted on Monday.

Seismic Design Competition (SDC) events are distributed throughout the week, with selected events of interest to conference participants included on the program-at-a-glance . For a full schedule of SDC events, visit the SDC webpage. http://10ncee.org/program/seismic-design-competition
